CAP General Meeting Minutes

UPDATES
- Scholastic Book Fair – Went well, just met the minimum sales needed. Received $940 in scholastic credit and $875 in cash. Trying to book for Nov/Dec next year. Suggestion made to maybe have a family movie night during sale to boost sales
- Game Night – was a success! 75-100 people attended. Bingo, ping pong, board games a hit. Provided snacks (chips, water, fruit leather) for free
- Nacho Bar – went well. Kids enjoyed having something different. Plenty of volunteers.
- Jot Form – issue resolved. The data storage had met capacity, had to delete in order to continue to use Jot Form. Need to remember to do this yearly.
- Snow days – as of now, last day of school will be June 20th. School is in session on March 17th which was a planned snow day makeup.
TEACHER/STUDENT REQUESTS
- BEA vests – Cheryl is handling the new vests through the school
UPCOMING EVENTS
- Chipotle Fundraiser – Grad Night – ⅜ 4-8 pm, can order online ahead of time
- Grad Night- Candace Allen- fundraising events – Grad party will be at Bullwinkles. More fundraisers to support are plant sale, Papa Murphy coupon cards, Hazel Dell Parade, possibly Red Robin
- Family fun day (3/15)- Katie Plummer – confirmed at Crosley Lanes
- Surprise treat- February- date change; propose to move April,
- Teacher Appreciation Coord – Katie Cowl May 1-8th, $500 budget
- 8th Grade Grad – coordinator Crystal Katzer – may need to adjust date due to snow days and extended school year
- PBIS Store – March 31st – Amazon Wishlist created for donations. People can shop straight from the list and it will be delivered to school. Or they can deliver items themselves.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

- Must be cleared by the school district through the volunteer application on BGPS site
