  • Family Fun day- Katie P.- Big turn out and lots of fun.
  • Surprise treat day- How did it go? Announce on intercom? (Jen)- Successful but need an announcement
  • Library (volunteers?) Melissa -2 people trained so far. Need 1 or 2 more
  • Kid heart health challenge-Chandra and Crystal S.-need volunteer text reminder next time
  • Pizza Tuesday- schedule change for pizza days? Crystal K., Sarah L.- Possibly have all kids come thru at same time but will cause congestion



  • Mr. Caughie- Math Fraction cards $34.99-appoved
  • Lindsay Ross- Snack for diabetic student? $25-tabled for later
  • Andie Noye- Reading fluency bundle online (supplemental)  $90-approved
  • Candace Allen- Bike pedals for movement needs – $48.50-tabled for later
  • Cindy Summerton – Donuts and water for CPR leaders – $33.-approved
  • Diane Harpe- Flags for cultural representation in commons- $273.tabled and needs more discussion



  • Spring plant sale- grad night 2024 (Marsha)-about 10 more orders needed, seniors goig to hand out fliers
  • GotSneakers fundraiser- Donita-3 student helpers, moving along slowly but need more donations
  • Teacher appreciation: May 6-May 10 – Katie C. leading-May 9th coffee pick up sarah l. Need food donations by 5/3
  • 8th Grade recognition committee- Katie & Kristina -Ice cream in freezer?need about 500 more otter pops


VOLUNTEERS NEEDED (Must be cleared by BGPS to volunteers)

  • Teacher Appreciation- Katie Cowl (what are your plans/ volunteer needs?)April 29th, would like a money donation option on sign-up genius
  • After Spring break- Got Sneakers packing with Donita. Target date? NHS Students who need volunteer hours? (Check with Diane Harpe)


  • Spring Plant Sale Now (grad night) until April 26th- Delivered May 15- Pickup 16th from CAM

CAP Volunteer Positions


Executive Board Positions

  • President:
    • Preside over general CAP meetings and executive board meetings; serve as the official representative of CAP; hold an annual audit of the financial records of CAP.
  •  Vice President:
    • Oversee the committee system of CAP; assist the president and chair meetings in the absence of the president.
  • Secretary:
    • Record and distribute minutes of all general membership meeting; hold historical records and attendance records for CAP; manage communications such as email, Facebook, bulletin board, and CAP website.
  • Treasurer
    • Serve as custodian of CAP finances. Collect revenue, pay authorized expenses, report financial records and prepare a suggested budget for the following year to present for approval at June’s executive board meeting.


Board Positions

  • Pizza Tuesdays
    • Place orders and coordinate volunteers
  • Payback Book Fundraiser
    • Arrange for order form and book deliveries
    • Coordinate volunteers stuffing envelopes, distributing books, collecting money, etc
  • Spirit Wear
    • Collect order forms, tally amounts, place order, distribute items
  • Box Tops Fundraiser
    • Promote clipping and scanning Box Tops
    • Collect, count, organize and mail in box tops
    • Organize box top contests
  • Restaurant Fundraiser 
    • Arrange date and time with restaurant. 
  • Thanksgiving Lunch
    • Collect and tally order forms/money
    • Order food, purchase supplies
    • Organize volunteers to bring food, help with check in and clean up
  • Student Appreciation
    • Organize student surprises! This could be hot chocolate, candy, etc
  • Teacher Appreciation
    • Oversee coordination and implementation of activities (breakfast, lunch, treats) within approved budget.
  • 8th Grade Recognition
    • Oversee coordination of event within approved budget.
  • High School Graduation Night Coordinator
    • Plan, organize and oversee coordination of event within approved budget including fundraising.
  • Library
    • Coordinate volunteers; hours of operations; adding donated and new books to library
  • Game Night
    • Publicity, organize volunteers, arrange for refreshments, etc.
  • Wednesday Fun Day
    • Publicity, coordinate with facility
  • Website Coordinator
    • Assist secretary in managing CAP Facebook page and CAP website.
